new year, same something
Well, not everything is the same. I officially had to make my screen text size "Large" so I can fucking read anything on the internet XDDDD Yayayyy, 2019 the year where I accept I am le blind.
2019 ended with a "bang" with the Bennu Orbit Insertion of Osiris-REx. I officially have an instrument orbiting another planetary body, so that's nice. Always good to end the year with a couple Out-Of-This-World records. We've still got like another month before our instrument gets to image and we get that sweet sweet data but I have plenty of other projects to occupy myself before then.
THENE WILL BE IN THE SAME GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AS ME IN LESS THAN A WEEK. THis is very exciting and hasn't happened since I crashed her brother's wedding in the Englandland XD
I'm about to go jump in the Pacific Ocean which a bunch of other people are calling a "Polar Plunge" and I am calling "my normal swim" but I am managing to drag along a friend who would normally never agree to this so that's a win.
My tummy has been very unhappy for the last couple weeks when I have given up an eating food that is good for me, so I am back on my soylent bullshit for at least January. I think, beyond protesting how I treat it for roller derby, my body is also starting to hate certain foods. Everyone told me my body would start breaking down when I turned 30. It is so disappointing it is proving them right.
I have a pillowfort.io account that I am trying to figure out how I want to use. I want someplace on the interwebs where I can both post word things and also the occaisional images. Though, I guess I can also just say "Go look at my instagram!"
